White Fire Port with 90 Degree Hose Adaptor for Fire Extinguisher

A fire port provides an in-expensive solution to help protect your passengers and crew on board your boat by allowing you to visually inspect and discharge a fire extinguisher into the engine space or any other enclosed area when a fire is present. The fire port is supplied complete with a white plastic flange, 90&Deg; hose tail, a watertight transparent inspection port and a white plastic mounting nut. This Osculati model fire port is suitable for both wall and floor mounting and can be connected to the engine box or other enclosed spaces with a pipe.

In the event of a fire, simply placing the fire extinguisher nozzle through the fire port and discharging allows for the fire to be extinguished without opening any additional inspection hatches which is likely to add additional oxygen to the fire and fuel the fire resulting in increased risk. As the fire port can be used without opening any other additional hatches, this allows for the contents of the extinguisher to only target the affected area without dissipating into other areas of the boat.

Installing a fire port is highly recommended by CE and A.B.Y.C. directives and can be easily installed by simply cutting the required cut out size of 38mm.
