Description

Freshwater Pressure System CEM J-INOX/8X 12v 50lt/m –

Freshwater Pressure System with Stainless Steel Accumulator Tank for Vessels Measuring 14 to 25 Meters

Overview and Uses
Our pressure systems, often referred to as autoclaves, play a vital role in the boating sector. They ensure a steady water pressure for various onboard amenities, including showers, kitchens, sinks, and toilets.

To achieve the best performance, we suggest the following guidelines:

  • Install a non-return valve in the suction line to prevent backflow.
  • If the autoclave has not been utilized for a long time, verify that the internal pressure of the tank is equal to or 0.2 bar lower than the minimum calibration pressure of the pressure switch.

Construction Features
Our pressure systems are generally equipped with:

  • An electric pump of types J-mini, J-INOX, JBR, or PB (details regarding voltage and performance can be found in the specifications table).
  • A 2-liter cylindrical tank made from stainless steel (2X), a 2-liter tank constructed from painted steel with a stainless steel flange (2L), an 8-liter stainless steel tank (8X), or an 8-liter tank made from painted sheet steel with a stainless steel flange (8L). All tanks include an internal membrane made of food-grade butyl rubber.
  • A pressure switch with standard calibration that can be adjusted between 1.4 and 2.8 bar, as indicated in the specifications table.
  • A pressure gauge for monitoring.
  • A 5-way brass connection for easy installation.

Usage Restrictions

  • The liquid must be free from solid contaminants.
  • Acceptable liquid temperature range: +0 to +50°C (up to +70°C for PB and JBR series).
  • Maximum static pressure in the pump body: 6 bar.
