It is also well-suited for onshore use, including emptying septic tanks, flushing, and filling water tanks. An optional vacuum switch is available for the F8B-8 model only. The pump now features wear plates and stainless steel end covers for enhanced durability.

The Johnson F8B-8 pump is designed to be pulley-driven and foot-mounted. It serves as a replacement for Jabsco models 52200-2011 and 6400-2001 and is compatible with marine engines such as the Albin Motor G62, G62T, Caterpillar 3208, and Schwarting S424.
