Bronze struts for propeller shafts are designed specifically for sailboats and are intended to be resin-mounted on the keel. These struts offer several advantages for shipbuilders, including:

The sizing of these struts complies with the regulations set by the Italian Naval Register for pleasure boats.

We use our OT.MAN alloy, which has the following mechanical properties:

• Tensile strength (T) > 535 N/mm²
• Yield strength (Y) > 220 N/mm²
• Elongation (E) > 25%

Each strut comes with Radice hydrolubricated rubber bearings already installed.

These bearings can be easily replaced by loosening the two lock nuts. To install the struts, follow these steps:

1. Create a slit in the hull or on the existing structure.
2. Position the strut while aligning it with the shaft line.
3. Seal and reinforce the joint area between the strut and hull with resin
