The Bowman FH100-3182-2 marine three-pass header tank heat exchanger is specifically engineered for engines that generate 82 kW or 110 HP. This heat exchanger is suitable for various engine models, such as the Ford BSD-329/32/3/H, Ford BSD-442/4, and Gardner 4LW, among others.

It is equipped with a raw water input connection of 1″ BSP on one side and a raw water output connection of 1″ BSP on the opposite side. Furthermore, there is a 45mm connection for fresh water.

Bowman recommends against the use of zinc anodes, as the heat exchanger’s tubes are constructed from a copper-nickel alloy, which does not necessitate them. The addition of a zinc anode could potentially damage the protective copper-oxide layer that naturally develops on the tubes, leaving the material vulnerable to harm.
