The Technodrive TMC260 2.00 marine gearbox unit features mechanically operated conical clutches, which are activated by a servo system. The gears are specifically designed for quiet operation, and the bearings are generously sized to ensure durability.

This gearbox is available with various ahead ratios, which can be selected from the dropdown menu. The pleasure rating is 84 kW (112.65 hp), while the commercial rating stands at 61 kW (81.8 hp). It can handle a maximum input speed of 5000 rpm and has a dry weight of 18 kg. The oil volume required is 1.20 litres, and the recommended oil type is ATF.

These mechanical gearboxes are compatible with right-handed propellers. For left-handed propellers, the reverse gear must be used as the forward setting. The reduction ratios of 2.00 and 2.47 are particularly suitable for both left-hand and right-hand propeller rotation in “ahead” full power, making the TMC 260 an excellent choice for twin-engine applications.
