We are pleased to present the Garmin echoMAP UHD2 62SV (without Transducer). This sophisticated chartplotter and fishfinder is equipped with a 6-inch touchscreen display that offers a resolution of 800×480 pixels, quick access buttons, and a built-in GPS receiver. It features a robust 500W sounder that includes CHIRP, ClearVü, SideVü, and UHD capabilities. This device is compatible with all Garmin BlueChart and Garmin Navionics+ maps, and it comes with integrated wireless connectivity, as well as support for NMEA0183/2000 and Fusion-Link. It integrates effortlessly with all onboard systems and includes essential Garmin features such as Auto Guidance, ActiveCaptain, Sail Assist, and Quickdraw Contours.

Included with the unit are an adjustable mounting bracket, a screen cover, and a power/data cable. The model that does not come with a transducer is provided with an adapter cable that converts an 8-pin transducer to a 12-pin connection.

The Garmin echoMAP UHD2 62SV showcases a bright, sunlight-readable 6-inch high-hybrid screen. This scanning sounder employs traditional CHIRP 2D, ClearVü, and SideVü technology, and it is also compatible with LiveScope real-time scanning technology.

The UHD2 62SV is equipped with a 500W sounder that features ClearVü and SideVü technology, along with traditional CHIRP single-channel capabilities. This latest UHD2 series presents an updated interface similar to that of GPSMAPs, offering a smoother and quicker experience compared to earlier models. The high-resolution display (800 × 480 pixels) is enhanced by keyboard assistance. Furthermore, there is a microSD card slot that accommodates cards up to 32GB, allowing you to save up to 5,000 waypoints.

With built-in Wi-Fi, you can connect your smartphone to the ActiveCaptain app, which enables data sharing between devices. Additionally, you can link two echoMAP UHD2 units to share user and sounder data.

The device features a 10Hz multi-band GPS that utilizes multiple frequencies to improve position accuracy, especially in areas with weak or reflected signals.

The echoMAP UHD2 62SV is also compatible with the FORCE electric motor, allowing for complete wireless control of the motor from the display. You can create and follow routes, navigate to waypoints, manage speed, check battery life, and more.

SIDEVÜ UHD TECHNOLOGY

The SideVü technology allows you to observe what is occurring on both sides of the boat, assisting you in identifying structures and fish with high precision and detail. This feature enables you to quickly locate fishing areas, thanks to an extensive 180° scanning field.

The 350W GT54UHD transom probe operates on SideVü CHIRP frequencies:

• 1060-1170 kHz for UHD SideVü (depth up to 35 meters)
• 425-485 kHz for SideVü (depth up to 100 meters)

CLEARVÜ UHD TECHNOLOGY

ClearVü UHD technology is among the most effective available, delivering clear, high-quality images in Ultra High Definition of everything beneath the water’s surface. You will be able to see submerged structures, fish, and objects with remarkable clarity.

COMPATIBLE LIVESCOPE LVS32 & LVS34

You can connect an optional Panoptix LiveScope probe for instant live probing. Access both LiveScope Down and LiveScope Forward modes from a single probe, easily switching modes to suit your fishing techniques. Use LiveScope Forward mode to see sharp images of your lure and nearby fish, and LiveScope Down mode to observe what is directly beneath the boat.

QUICKDRAW CONTOURS FUNCTION

The Quickdraw Contours software allows you to create HD fishing maps in real-time. With the Garmin echoMAP UHD2 62SV, you can store maps covering up to 8,000 km², with bathymetric curves displayed every 30 cm. You can download maps or share your own by connecting via Wi-Fi to the free ActiveCaptain app, which also provides on-screen notifications for updates to your echo sounder.

WIFI AND ECHOMAP UHD2 CONNECTIVITY

The Garmin echoMAP UHD2 enables Wi-Fi connectivity with smartphones to utilize the ActiveCaptain application on both iOS and Android devices. Additionally, you can connect two echoMAP UHD2 units to share sounder views and user data. For instance, one sounder can be connected to a stern transducer while a second sounder located at the front receives the sounder view wirelessly via Wi-Fi, allowing you to fish from all sides of the boat while monitoring one of the screens.

The wireless feature also allows you to share certain sounder settings, such as sensitivity, range, and interference filter, enabling fine-tuning on either screen. However, for other settings, you will need to use your main screen.

The Wi-Fi connection also facilitates sharing updates. You can insert an SD update card into your first sounder, initiate the update, and then wirelessly update the second sounder once the first update is complete, without needing to move the SD card.
