The Prince DP3 1524D Vertical Windlass is a sophisticated free-falling anchor windlass, featuring durable bronze and stainless steel traction components. This model includes a chain counter sensor and a manual free-fall chain system, ensuring ease of use. It is equipped with an emergency manual lift system and a pressure lever for added safety. The windlass comes complete with a control box and handle, and its robust construction includes a stainless steel base and case, along with an IP67-rated watertight motor.

The windlass features a stainless steel 316 base that incorporates a built-in chain pipe. It is designed with a rope/chain gypsy that is fitted with a chain counter sensor. The unit is supplied with a relay box and a gypsy, which can be provided with or without a drum. The motor is also IP67-rated for watertight protection.

The Prince DP3 1524D is suitable for boats ranging from 12 to 15 metres (39 to 49 feet) in length.
