The Antal XT16ST is a self-tailing winch crafted for both cruising and competitive racing, offering two operational speeds: direct and reduced. Its enhanced recovery speed, along with a compact and lightweight design, makes it an outstanding option for those engaged in competitive sailing.

This winch is compatible with sheets that have diameters ranging from 6 to 10 mm.

Antal has a reputation for manufacturing high-performance, durable self-tailing sheet winches that perform exceptionally well in both cruising and racing scenarios.

You can select either a hard black anodized aluminum drum or a chrome-plated finish. The winch is equipped with an AISI 316 stainless steel central rod, roller bearings, and bronze gears. Maintenance is simple; just unscrew the upper ring to take apart the winch for easy access and servicing.

The inclusion of a direct speed gear in addition to a single reduced speed gear offers a quicker recovery option, making it adaptable to various sailing conditions. A spring-loaded disk automatically adjusts to fit even the thinnest ropes. In cases of overload, it releases the line to avoid excessive stress on the self-tailing arm.
