We are pleased to present the Quick BTQ140 Bow Thruster, meticulously engineered for superior performance and dependability. This model is equipped with a single propeller crafted from robust composite materials, paired with a durable bronze gearbox. The solenoid protection cover is also constructed from high-quality composite material, ensuring extended durability. Furthermore, the zinc anode is designed to be independent of the gearbox, allowing for straightforward replacement. This unit features an elastic coupling, making it ideal for vessels measuring between 6 to 10 metres (20 to 33 feet) in length.

Optimised Performance with Lower Power Consumption

The four-blade propellers are specifically designed to provide maximum thrust while minimising electrical current draw. Made from strong composite materials, they deliver reliable performance across a range of conditions. The counter-rotating system enhances thrust efficiency, with each propeller tailored for left and right orientations to ensure consistent operation in both directions.

• The elastic joint optimises the alignment between the motor and gearbox, a distinctive Quick design that functions as a tension device, safeguarding the system from the stresses associated with the bow thruster, resulting in enhanced performance.

The Motors

Safety Features

In the event of a relay malfunction, the TMS remote circuit breaker system automatically disconnects power to the motor from any location equipped with TDC panels or TSC emergency mushroom panels. The BTQ motors are designed to function without a thermal sensor, enabling them to deliver maximum power when necessary. Overheating protection is managed by software integrated within the touch panel or joystick panel, ensuring safe operation at all times.
