VETUS maintenance-free Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) batteries are fully sealed, featuring a small ventilation opening for pressure relief. The plates are made from lead-calcium, and the electrolyte is absorbed by glass fiber mat separators, ensuring that the battery remains leak-proof during transport or if the casing is damaged. These AGM batteries are designed specifically for marine applications, making them ideal for engine starts, winches, and bow thrusters. They offer high MCA ratings, low self-discharge rates, and durability, continuing to function without leaking even when damaged. They are particularly well-suited for continuous cyclic use, especially when immediate recharging is available.

STORAGE
VETUS AGM batteries can be positioned in any orientation, including upside down, but should not be charged with the terminals facing down. You can charge these batteries using any voltage-regulated battery charger set to the correct setting or through the engine alternator. VETUS battery chargers are particularly recommended for this purpose.

VETUS AGM batteries are versatile marine batteries, suitable for deep discharge cycles when used in the main bank to power lighting, pumps, and domestic appliances.
