Bowman EH100-3401-2 –
The Bowman EH100-3401-2 heat exchanger is specifically engineered for engines with a power output of 40 kW (54 HP). It is equipped with end covers that resist corrosion, ensuring greater longevity.
This heat exchanger features inner tubes made from nickel alloy, which are capable of enduring seawater and harsh chemicals, employing a three-pass design to optimize heat transfer efficiency.
It includes connections for raw water input and output, both designed with a size of 3/4″ BSP.
Please be aware that the heat exchanger is supplied with counter flanges, stud bolts, and gaskets intended for the fresh water circuit. You will need to establish suitable connections for both the fresh water coolant input and output.
Bowman recommends against the use of zinc anodes, as the copper-nickel alloy tubes of the heat exchanger do not necessitate them. The installation of a zinc anode could potentially harm the protective copper-oxide layer on the tubes, which may lead to corrosion of the material.
