Introducing the Antal Self-Tailing XT44, a 173mm winch with two speed settings. The first gear allows for quick recovery, even when under heavy loads. As the effort increases, simply change the direction of the crank’s rotation, and the winch will automatically shift to the second speed, providing maximum power. This winch is designed for sheets ranging from 6 to 14 mm.

The black aluminum version features a hard black anodized and Teflon-coated drum, making it scratch-resistant and highly durable. The chrome version includes a fully chrome-plated drum, ST disks, and ST arm. All chrome parts are polished, thickly nickel-plated, and finished with a high-quality chrome layer.

For easy maintenance, you can simply unscrew the upper ring to take apart the winch for cleaning. The new self-tailing XT system includes a fixed upper disk with a built-in ST arm and a self-regulating lower disk on springs. This innovative design automatically adjusts to different rope diameters and releases the line if overloaded, preventing excess strain on the ST arm.

The drum features vertical knurling that maximizes horizontal friction, allowing the rope to slide upward smoothly. The specially designed grip on aluminum drums reduces friction at the bottom, where loads are heavier, while providing maximum grip at the top, where loads are lighter. This design ensures an even grip along the entire drum.

The CNC-machined base is lighter and stronger than standard castings. Made from aluminum, it is hard black anodized and Teflon-coated for added durability. The easy removal feature simplifies maintenance.
